Burch Renders & Reducers Mama sind in Paris als Zwillinge eines kubanischen Vaters und einer französischen Mutter geboren. Nach gemeinsamer Ausbildung auf der elektronischen Orgel bei Klaus Wunderlich und Studien der Algorhithmik am Moskauer Institut für Klangsynthese entwickelten die beiden Musiker Mitte der Neunzigerjahre eine sehr eigenwillige, elektronische Popmusik, welche vor allem in Hotelbars an den Küsten ganz Europas schnell beliebt wurde. Das Geschwisterpaar lebt an der Riviera, in der Zwischensaison bleibt ihnen immer wieder Zeit, etwas Musik für das Theater zu komponieren. Dies zuletzt für Hotel Supernova, einer Show ihrer polnischen Freundin und seelenverwandten Künstlerin Mariola Brillowska, sowie für Regisseur Tim Zulauf und seine Stücke 'Die Stelle im Park' und 'Migrantenstadl'. |

The Twins Burch Renders & Reducers Mama were born in Paris; their parents were originating from Cuba (the father) and from France (the mother). After common formation on the electronic organ with Klaus Wunderlich and studies of Algorhithmics at the Institute for Sound Synthesis in Moscow, the two musicians developed mid nineties a very obstinate, electronic Popmusik, which - particularly in hotel bars at Europe's coasts - gained quickly broad admiration of the listeners. The twins live at the Riviera now, in the meantime however, they still find a little time to compose some music for theatre; this has been true for their bizarre and nostalgic instrumentals for their Polish friend and soul mate Mariola Brillowska, and for director Tim Zulauf ("Tim Hopping-by") and his plays "die Stelle im Park" and "Migranenstadl". |
