| Burch Renders & Reducers Mama Theatermusik domizil 20 CD The Twins Burch Renders & Reducers Mama were born in Paris of a Cuban father and a French mother. After learning to play the electronic organ together under Klaus Wunderlich, and studies in Algorithmics at the Institute for Computer Music in Zurich (Switzerland) in the mid-nineties, the two musicians developed a very obstinate, electronic pop music, that quickly gained favor among listeners, particularly in hotel bars in coastal resorts in Europe. The twins now live on the French Riviera, but still find time to compose music for the theatre. Theatermusik is the second release by the two nomadic organ players Burch Renders & Reducers Mama on domizil. The CD includes the music for Die Stelle im Park and Migranenstadl, two plays by Tim Zulauf (played to world audiences), as well as new compositions for Brillowska's play Hotel Supernova (guest appearance in Bad Hotel, Gessneralle, Zurich). The Songs Bühnenarbeiter, Sneaker, Recycling, Autoerotik and Heimatgold (all taken from the play Migrantenstadl) are interpreted and sung by the actors themselves, Ingo Heise, Felix von Hugo, Agnes Lampkin and Wanda Vyslouzilova. The songs were written by Zulauf, and the illustration on the cover is signed by acclaimed Zurich Artist Yves Netzhammer. |
