The second release from teleform/Bernd Schurer may be taken as a statement of musical deconstructivism: nonlinear but never circular, a hazy flicker of disembodied sounds, forming secret melodies, a jar of hard disk drives buzzing lonesome tunes. All 35 tracks are untitled, unnumbered, and anonymous. Each has its own brief life and could just as well be shuffled by a CD player and listened to randomly. Each listening would be a marvel of curious, new musical dialects. This is a CD that seems full of doubt - it neither trusts the linear compositional approach nor wants to leave it all to the machine... teleform: the gritty digi-blues.
