Marcus Maeder's first release is a scurrilous accumulation of environmental sounds treated and shuffled by computer malfunction. Minimal rhythmic patterns appear along with entertaining musical fragments. Digital garbage and distorted organ/synthesizer sounds create short melodies weighed with sadness. This record is like an acoustic film of the environment in which Maeder’s lives - a music with ironic attitude and full of fragmentary urbanism, lo-fi clicks and cuts.
